About the photographer
Looking closely
is a form of care.
I began taking photographs to remember where I had been. I continued because the camera taught me how to be present while I was there.
Moving between schools, cities, and cultures made me attentive to details that are easy to overlook: a window lit after rain, the geometry of a crowded street, or the silence of a road with no visible end. My photographs are less about collecting destinations than understanding how people inhabit them.
This portfolio is an evolving record of curiosity—about geography, community, and the stories that appear when I wait long enough to notice.

Eight days
on the plateau.
Across monasteries, lakes, mountains, and open roads, these photographs record how Tibet changed my understanding of scale, stillness, and attention.

Miles teach me
to notice.
Long-distance cycling changed how I see a place. At the speed of a bicycle, endurance and observation become part of the same journey—from training roads in Shenzhen to the coast of Hainan.
